I’m in a better mood today than yesterday. The end of December, for almost every year, feels like it always poses some kind of challenge or crisis to me. Skins have to be shed. Ideas have to be revised. Relationships have to change or start over or be amended. 1
2026—it feels like there’s a natural turning away from the hyper-online, hyper-mimetic mode of the first half of the 2020s, which were imprinted with COVID or by the pandemic right away.
